There is a great variety of illnesses that may affect the endocrine system, and even greater diversity among the symptoms and test results that patients present. The important thing is to consult an endocrinologist for their assessment.

The CECQ finds solutions for disorders that affect the pituitary gland, hypothalamus, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal cortex, pancreas – including diabetes mellitus –, the ovaries, testicles; as well as such bone-mineral disorders as osteoporosis.

Endocrinology is a medical specialty based upon the study, comprehensive understanding and treatment of glands and the hormones they produce.

Diseases of the endocrine gland are widely varied: some are treated medically but there are others requiring surgery, and it is recommended that patients submit to evaluation by an endocrinologist, who will determine whether examination by a surgeon is necessary.

1. Telephone to request an appointment.

2. It is important that you bring with you all laboratory results or imaging studies taken in the last year, as well as a list of medications taken during the same period – even when they may seem not to have any relation to the current illness.

3. Office Visit.

4. Appointments for treatment follow-up will be scheduled.
